Public link use cases

Public links shine wherever the signer comes to you, on your website, at your counter, or in the field, rather than you addressing them first.

Waivers

A business can place a public signing link on a website or display its QR code at a physical location.

Visitors can open the link and sign the waiver themselves.

Examples:

Use a public link when customers need to complete the same consent form without requiring the business to manually create a request for each customer.

Registration forms

A public signing link can be shared with people who need to complete and sign a standard registration form.

For example:

"Complete and sign the registration form using this link."

In-person signing

A QR code makes Public Signing Links particularly useful for in-person workflows.

For example:

  1. Display the QR code at reception.
  2. Visitor scans the QR code.
  3. Visitor enters the required information.
  4. Visitor completes the signing request.
  5. Undersign records the completed submission.
