Prefill information
Before a request leaves, you can supply values for fields the signer doesn't need to invent: names, references, dates, prices. The signer sees them pre-filled at signing.
Prefill at send time
In the send dialog, each signer's assigned fields are listed. Enter a value for any you want to supply. Values you enter here apply to this request only - they override (but don't overwrite) the template's defaults. See Prefill template fields.
Editable or locked
By default the signer can change a prefilled value unless the field is configured as read-only. Define which in Configure fields.
Check before you send. Prefilled values become part of the signed record. A wrong reference that a signer signs without changing is on the document permanently.
