Common workflows
Send multiple documents together
Before you start
- The related documents prepared as PDFs or templates.
- The same (or overlapping) signer set for all of them.
A typical example
Agreement + Disclosure + Authorization = one signature request. Signers complete the whole packet without re-entering their details.
The workflow
- Prepare each document as a template.
- Create one signature request and add all the documents.
- Assign the same signers across documents.
- Send once.
Step 1: Prepare the templates
Set up each document as a template with its own fields and roles. This keeps layouts consistent across sends.
Step 2: Combine into one request
Start a signature request and add all the templates. See Send for signature for how requests bundle documents.
Step 3: Assign signers
Add the recipients once and assign them to their roles across the documents. The same person can act in every document of the request.
Step 4: Send
Send once. Each signer gets a single signing session covering the whole packet.
What happens next?
Signers complete all documents in one session, and the request completes as a bundle, one audit trail covering the packet. This is ideal for onboarding and multi-part agreements.
