Combine multiple templates into one request
Before you start
- Two or more related templates: an agreement and its disclosure, for example.
- An overlapping signer set.
A typical example
Agreement + Disclosure + Authorization = one signature request. Each template keeps its own fields; the request bundles them into one signing session.
The workflow
- Prepare each template.
- Create a request and add all templates.
- Assign signers across the documents.
- Send and track as one request.
Step 1: Prepare each template
Each document stands on its own template with the right fields. See Create a template.
Step 2: Create the request
Start a request and add all the templates. See Send for signature.
Step 3: Assign signers
Assign the signers to their roles across all documents. A person can act in every document of the request.
Step 4: Send and track
Send once and track the bundle as a single request with one progress view and one audit trail.
What happens next?
Related paperwork is signed together, in one session, with one record, no chasing documents individually. This pairs well with Send multiple documents together.
