Signing scenarios
In-person document signing
Before you start
- A document or template for the interaction.
- A device the signer can use, or a shared screen.
Where in-person signing fits
Customer at a counter, employee onboarding, office agreement, service authorization. The document is done in the minutes you're together.
The workflow
- Prepare the document as a template.
- Create the request with in-person signing.
- Hand the link to the signer.
- Complete the fields together.
- Confirm completion on the spot.
Step 1: Prepare the document
Set up the document as a template with the fields the person needs to complete. See Create a template.
Step 2: Create the request
Start the request and choose in-person signing.
Step 3: Hand over the link
Open the link on the signer's phone or on a shared screen. They sign directly, no account, no app.
Step 4: Complete together
Guide the signer through their fields. Catch missing details in real time instead of after the fact.
Step 5: Confirm completion
The document completes instantly on submit. Hand over the confirmation, no waiting on email.
What happens next?
