Webhooks
Webhook Overview
Webhooks receive notifications associated with signing activity, so your application can react to events instead of repeatedly checking status.
How webhooks work
Undersign sends an HTTP notification to your endpoint when signing activity occurs. Your endpoint processes the notification and passes it to your application:
Flow
Undersign ↓ Signing activity ↓ Webhook notification ↓ Your endpoint ↓ Your application
The webhook object
A webhook configuration requires a url and an events list:
JSON
{
"url": "https://<your-webhook-endpoint>",
"events": ["*"]
}
Include the webhook object when creating a signature request to receive notifications for that request. See the Create Signature Request example.
