Authentication Problems

Diagnose authentication failures by checking your request's authorization header and credential state.

Checklist

1. Authorization header exists

   Confirm the request includes the Authorization header at all.

2. Correct Bearer format

   Use the exact format Bearer <BEARER_TOKEN>, with the Bearer prefix and a single space before the token.

3. Credential is active

   Verify the credential exists and hasn't been revoked. Recreate or rotate it in your account if needed.

4. Request sent from the intended server

   Confirm the request goes out from the environment the credential is configured for.

5. Check logs and request_id

   Review your logs and include the response request_id when contacting support.
