Template Problems

Diagnose template-related failures, from wrong identifiers to missing configuration.

Checklist

1. Correct template_id

   Confirm you're using the exact template_id returned by the API. Copy it from the response rather than retyping it.

2. Template available through GET /templates

   Verify the template appears in the List Templates response. If it doesn't, it isn't available to your account.

3. Correct account

   Confirm the credential belongs to the same account that owns the template. A template from another account won't be returned.

4. Signer and field configuration

   If creation fails after retrieving a template, review its signers and fields via template details, the request must supply signers that match the template's configuration.
